Ginger Tzatziki Chicken Wraps
If you are looking for something to change up your chicken dinner, this Ginger Tzatziki Chicken Wrap meal is going to blow your mind! It’s a yummy and healthy alternative to regular wraps, and the flavor of the chicken is absolutely wonderful.
This is a low-sucrose and low-starch recipe. Sucrose and starch tolerance vary. Individuals may need to modify the recipe to meet personal diet goals.
Ingredients
For the Chicken
- 4 chicken breasts
- ½ cup soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons ginger powder
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
For the Tzatziki
- ¼ cup finely diced cucumbers
- 1 clove minced garlic (as tolerated)
- 1 teaspoon dried dill or 1-2 tablespoons fresh dill
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- ½ cup plain Greek yogurt
For the Wraps
- 8-10 whole romaine lettuce leaves
- 30 cucumber slices
Directions
- In a bowl, mix together the soy sauce, ginger, olive oil and pepper.
- Add in the chicken and cover with plastic to marinate for 30 minutes.
- In a small bowl, add cucumbers, dill, garlic, salt, pepper and yogurt and mix it together.
- Grill the chicken.
- When it’s done, assemble your wraps by lining the romaine leaves with cucumber, then add a few pieces of chicken and top with the tzatziki.
